A pervert who believed he was speaking to several young girls online has been jailed
Unemployed Philip Grace of Milton Keynes appeared at Aylesbury Crown Court where he was sentenced for a number of sexual offences involving children
The court was told that Grace had contacted what he believed was several young girls. He sent highly sexually explicit chat in an attempt to pressure the girls into sexual activity.
On a number of occasions, he asked the girls if they were virgins and repeatedly asked for a meet so he could abuse them. Finally a meet was arranged.
However, when Grace appeared at his meeting place, he was met by online child protection team ‘The guardian Angels – TGA’
The team questioned Grace on his online activity, and were shocked when he revealed he had intended to take the girl into the nearby woods for sex. Grace was carrying a tent with him.
In total, Grace admitted he had contacted three girls.
It was revealed to him that all three profiles belonged to online child protection teams – Two from Decoy Central and one from ‘Parental online protection’ who had set up the profiles pretending to be 13 year old girls
The team rang the police and Grace was arrested
The judge sentenced Grace to seven years imprisonment and ordered him to sign the sex offenders register
