A pervert has avoided prison after he was caught in a paedophile hunting team investigation.
Martin Blaikie of Newton Stewart appeared at Stranrar Sherrif Court, where he admitted offences of sexual communication with a child
The court was told that Blaikie had contacted the online profiles of who he believed belonged to schoolgirls
He sent sexually explicit messages in a bid to groom the girls who had stated they were as young as 10.
However, the children did not exist, and were instead adult members of paedophile hunting team ‘Groom Resisters Scotland‘ who pose online as children to catch sexual predators.
The judge handed Blaikie a community service order
THe pervert will also be required to register as a sex offender for a period of four years
