Sentenced to eight years for sexual offences against young girl
A man has been sentenced after he admitted abusing a young girl
Samuel Hurst, 34 of Skipton appeared at Bradford Crown Court where he admitted:
Rape of a child aged under 13
Two counts of attempted rape of a child aged under 13
Sexual assault against a child aged under 13
The court was told that the female child was aged between seven and eight years old when the abuse began
Hurst was sentenced to eight years imprisonment
He was told that he must register as a sex offender for life
