A young man from Mid Wales has been warned to expect custody after he admitted a grooming charge.
Connor Vowles, 21, of Lon Gwern, Trehafren, Newtown, appeared in the dock at Mold Crown Court today.
He admitted grooming a girl aged 13, between September and October 2016.
The defendant also admitted a charge of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
Judge Niclas Parry rebailed him pending sentence on December 21.
He said that all sentencing options would remain open and that he should prepare himself for a custodial sentence.
Vowles was ordered to register with the police as a sex offender in the meantime.
