That didn’t put the 30-year-old off and when the conversation moved to WhatsApp, it became increasingly sexual.
Wilcox, of Chester Hill, Cramlington, pleaded guilty to attempting to cause or incite a child to engage in sexual activity and was given 20 weeks suspended for 18 months and was made subject to a sexual harm prevention order and must sign the sex offenders register.
