Paedophile police officer jailed for raping young girl
We spend many hours of our personal time updating and improving this website to make it a valuable tool that will always be free and accessible to the public.

A police officer who only joined the force “to gain the keys to a sweetshop” has been jailed for raping a girl.
Cheshire Constabulary PC Ian Naude met the 13-year-old after being called to her house over a domestic incident.
Naude, originally from South Africa – who served in Afghanistan as a machine gunner with the Royal Irish Regiment, had been called to her house over a domestic incident in October 2017.
Afterwards, his supervisor warned him the girl had been “flirty”, but he then looked her up on Facebook.
He contacted her over social media and eventually raped her in his car, while filming it on his mobile phone.
The “committed paedophile” was found guilty at Liverpool Crown Court of raping the girl and was jailed for 25 years.
Naude, of Market Drayton in Shropshire, was also convicted of four charges of attempting to arrange the commission of a child sex offence and one charge of arranging a child sex offence, relating to five complainants aged between 12 and 15.
The father of one, originally from South Africa, previously admitted 31 offences relating to grooming underage girls via a fake Facebook and Snapchat profile.
Sentencing him, Judge Clement Goldstone QC said his rape victim had been just three weeks past her 13th birthday.
“In order to impose your will on a young girl and to commit offences of rape and sexual assault against her, you used and abused your position as a Cheshire Police officer, thereby enabling you to satisfy your lust and perversion,” he added.
During his two-week trial, Naude denied rape and sexual assault as he claimed the sex with the girl was consensual and that she “seemed to be enjoying it”.
He met the girl after he was called to her house over am incident in October last year, the court heard.
After looking her up on Facebook and exchanging sexual messages and photos, he returned to her home three days later.
He picked her up while her mother was out and drove her to a country lane where he attacked her.
Naude said: “I had one hand free and was using that to take photos and videos as we were making out.
“She seemed to be enjoying it. She had her arms around me and she told me she loved me
It has emerged Naude was already being investigated for sex offences when he became a student officer in April last year.
Police discovered, while at the end of his Army career and as an “aspiring policeman”, he had targeted other girls by posing as a 15-year-old boy called Jake Green on Facebook.
He would persuade his victims to undress and sometimes perform sexual acts on camera before sending them pictures and video of himself masturbating.
Naude will have to serve an extended five-year period on licence when released from prison.

Police officer Ian Naude found guilty of raping girl, 13, after telling jury ‘she seemed to enjoy it’
Shamed police officer Ian Naude has today been found guilty of raping and sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
The 30-year-old – who joined Cheshire Police in April, 2017 and was based at Crewe Police Station – was also found guilty of four counts of attempting to arrange the commission of a child sex offence and one count of arranging the commission of a child sex offence in relation to five other complainants who were aged between 12 and 15.
The verdicts were handed down by a jury at Liverpool Crown Court today.
The rapist had already admitted 30 other offences, including inciting children to engage in sexual activity, causing children to watch sexual acts and misconduct in public office.
The case was adjourned until December 13 for a pre-sentence report to assess how ‘dangerous’ Naude is.
Recorder of Liverpool Judge Clement Goldstone QC told him: “You must prepare for a very significant sentence indeed.”
During his trial Naude – who lives in Market Drayton – was described as a ‘prolific internet groomer’.
The rape happened three days after the PC was called to a domestic incident in October 2017 where he took down the details of a 13-year-old girl who lived at the address.
He picked the girl up three days later
He told her to “Call me Daddy” because, Naude told the jury: “It was just a turn on. It got me excited.”
He took her to a quiet spot in his car, and raped her – and recorded some of the attack on his phone.
The court heard Naude always claimed that their sex was consensual.
Naude said: “I had one hand free and was using that to take photos and videos as we were making out.
“She seemed to be enjoying it. She had her arms around me and she told me she loved me.
“She said ‘I have to go’ before her mum wonders where she is.”
He dropped her near her home then popped into Crewe Police Station, and sent her a selfie asking if she had had a good time
Prosecutor Owen Edwards told the jury: “She had been groomed by a police officer who was experienced in the art of manipulating, pressurising and even blackmailing young girls into performing sexual acts for his perverted pleasure.”
The girl’s family called in police to report the rape – and officers discovered this was the ‘tip of the iceberg’ of Naude’s offending.
Mr Edwards added: “Naude is a committed paedophile who had been targeting young girls on the internet for a considerable period.
He also had an account under the name of Bruce Ian Wayne, an apparent reference to superhero Batman, and a Snapchat account named King Of The North.
He would persuade his victims to undress and sometimes perform sexual acts on camera before sending them pictures and video of himself masturbating, the court heard.
In some cases he then threatened to send the photos on to other people on their Facebook friends list and on one occasion told a victim he would harass her friends, including one who self-harmed, unless she sent him photos.
The court heard that after the rape was reported Naude was accidentally copied into a police email revealing the plan to arrest him.
When his phone was seized 756 images had been deleted from it.
Other devices, including a laptop and another phone, were later discovered in a field in Market Drayton after he gave a hand-drawn map of their location to his cellmate.
Summing up the case, Judge Goldstone told the jury: “The defence concede that this is a case which has fairly depicted the defendant as a cold, uncaring, selfish and cruel paedophile who has on occasion stooped as low as coercive and threatening behaviour, including blackmail of young girls, some of whom have been properly characterised as vulnerable.”

Police officer accused of raping 13-year-old girl in car back seat while he filmed her tells jurors: ‘She seemed to be enjoying it’
A paedophile police officer accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in the back seat of his car told jurors: ‘She seemed to be enjoying it’.
Dad-of-one Ian Naude picked the girl up from her home while her mother was out and drove her to a quiet country lane, Liverpool Crown Court heard.
The 30-year-old told her to ‘Call me Daddy’ because, Naude told the jury: “It was just a turn on. It got me excited.”
They got in the back seat of his car and had sex with Naude, a PC with Cheshire Police, taking photos and videos on his mobile phone.
Naude has admitted 31 offences relating to grooming young girls by exchanging sexual messages and images through a fake persona he invented on Facebook.
And he admits a charge of sexual activity with a child for the one girl he did meet in person, the 13-year-old.
But he maintains she had consented to sex and denies rape and sexual assault.
Naude, originally from South Africa – who served in Afghanistan as a machine gunner with the Royal Irish Regiment, had been called to her house over a domestic incident in October 2017.
Afterwards, his supervisor warned him the girl had been ‘flirty’ but he then looked her up on Facebook.
Three days later, after exchanging sexual images and messages, he took her out in his car, the jury heard.
Naude, of Market Drayton, said: “I had one hand free and was using that to take photos and videos as we were making out.
“She seemed to be enjoying it. She had her arms around me and she told me she loved me.
“She said ‘I have to go’ before her mum wonders where she is.”
He dropped her near her home then popped into Crewe Police Station, and sent her a selfie asking if she had had a good time, the court heard.
A police investigation, started after the teenager reported the alleged assault to her family, discovered it was the ‘tip of the iceberg’ of Naude’s offending.
Police discovered, while at the end of his Army career and as an ‘aspiring policeman’, he had targeted other girls by posing as a 15-year-old boy called Jake Green on Facebook.
He would persuade his victims to undress and sometimes perform sexual acts on camera before sending them pictures and video of himself masturbating.
It is alleged Naude is a ‘committed paedophile’ who is ‘obsessed’ with taking the virginity of teenage girls and had regularly been targeting youngsters on the internet.
But Naude denied he joined the police in April 2017 after leaving the Army ‘to gain the keys to a sweetshop’ by meeting vulnerable girls through his job, it is alleged.
“I joined because I wanted to help people. I wanted to make a difference,” he told the court.
As well as denying rape and sexual assault, Naude denies four charges of attempting to arrange the commission of a child sex offence and one charge of arranging a child sex offence, relating to five complainants aged between 12 and 15.
He told the jury making arrangements to meet was just part of his ‘fantasy’, and he never intended to actually meet the girls.
Naude has pleaded guilty to two counts of engaging in sexual communication with a child, 14 counts of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, one count of taking indecent photos of a child, four counts of making indecent photos of a child, six counts of causing a child to watch a sexual act, two counts of misconduct in a public office and one count of possessing indecent photos of a child.
The trial continues.

‘Paedophile’ PC ‘demanded nude pictures’ from girl, 13
A “committed paedophile” police officer told a 13-year-old girl to send him nude photographs captioned “I love you daddy”, a court has heard.
The girl said she was “petrified” of Cheshire Police PC Ian Naude, 30, who denies rape and sexual assault.
A jury at Liverpool Crown Court heard Mr Naude of Market Drayton, Shropshire, would “pester” the teenager.
He has admitted sexual intercourse and sexual activity with a child but claims it was consensual.
Mr Naude met the teenager while attending a domestic incident at her home in October 2017, the trial heard previously.
“He was just like ‘send me nudes now’,” the girl told police in an interview played to the court.
“He told me once to write that ‘I love you daddy’. He’s not my dad so I don’t know why I’d do that.”
She told police she was “petrified of speaking to him” as he became “creepier and creepier”.
“He’s a policeman so he could do anything to me,” she added.
In one alleged assault last October, filmed on Mr Naude’s phone, the PC drove the girl to a remote spot and raped her.
“I was trying to push him off but he wouldn’t go,” she said.
Colleague PC Laura McCormick told the court she had spoken to Mr Naude about his behaviour with the girl, when they both went to her house.
She said: “I advised him that having a young child stood so closely to you isn’t best practise and he should have put some distance between them.”
Giving evidence, she added she was “really angry” when he said he had been into the child’s bedroom and she had shown him her belly button ring.
The court also heard Mr Naude had shown interest in a unit which deals with vulnerable teenagers and children.
On Wednesday, prosecutor Owen Edwards said Mr Naude was a “committed paedophile” who joined the police to exploit the access he would get to vulnerable young girls.
The defendant has admitted 31 offences including inciting children to engage in sexual activity, causing children to watch a sexual act, engaging in sexual communications with children and misconduct in a public office.
He denies raping and sexually assaulting the 13-year-old, as well as four charges of attempting to arrange the commission of a child sex offence and one charge of arranging a child sex offence.
