Man repeatedly sent ‘revolting’ images of himself to teenage girl
A Horfield man persistently sent a teenager “revolting” videos and photos of himself.
Gregory Dickinson “lost his way” after personal issues in his life, Bristol Crown Court heard today (March 27).
After turning to alcohol and drugs, he sent obscene images of himself to a teenager over the age of 16.
Dickinson, 29, of Maskelyne Avenue, pleaded guilty to two charges of sending a communication of an offensive nature.
The Recorder of Bristol His Honour Judge Peter Blair QC handed him a six months prison sentence, suspended for 18 months.
He told Dickinson: “The girl received revolting material over her phone.”
Dickinson was told to undergo rehabilitation and carry out 140 hours of unpaid work.
Neil Treharne, prosecuting, said Dickinson sent the girl an intimate photo of himself as well as a video of him doing a sex act.
Police arrested him but he refused to reveal his PIN for his phone.
Having been interviewed, he was released on bail – but sent the youngster another lewd video.
He was arrested again, said he had not done anything, and declined an interview.
The court heard he had the offer of a football coaching job.
