John Shovelin, 40, exposed himself to clothes shop customers after purposely leaving changing room curtains open.

He was previously rapped for cornering a woman in a Paisley town centre boozer toilet while showing off a coral-coloured thong.

The creep has been placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register after admitting terrorising shoppers during a hearing at Paisley Sheriff Court .

One victim, 36, targeted in a ladies’ bathroom, earlier insisted he should not be free to roam the streets.

She said: “What he did to me was absolutely vile. It’s disgusting that he’s been allowed back out on the streets.

“This man is a danger to the public. He should be locked up.”

Dad-of-two Shovelin was arrested after he exposed himself to customers in Ann Summers and New Look at the intu Braehead mall in Renfrew.

He flashed his privates to one woman at the first shop on February 24.

He returned to the shopping centre days later to target another shopper at the second store.

Charges that he also made inappropriate sexual comments to both were dropped.

Prosecutor Claire Rowan told how he headed to the changing rooms but purposely left the privacy curtain open.

Shovelin singled-out the females just 18 months after he cornered another victim in the loos of Paisley’s Wallace Bar and Grill.

He followed her into the bathroom and pulled down his trousers to reveal a pink thong while covering his eyes with one hand and pointing to his crotch with the other.

The fiend dodged a jail stretch for that offence – despite being told there was a “significant sexual element” to the crime.

Sheriff Colin Pettigrew told him then he considered locking him up.

He said: “Given your history of previous convictions, this is a very serious matter.”

Shovelin was added to the list of perverts and remanded in custody for his latest stunt.

He was jailed for 22 months for flashing while wearing women’s thongs a decade ago.

He was deemed a danger to women and had a trunk full of pink underwear seized following a spate of incidents in Glasgow.

Shovelin exposed himself to shoppers, clubbers and diners in the city centre between February and June, 2009.

He was caught on CCTV revealing his knickers to a group of women outside the Princes Square shopping centre.

He targeted two girls in Sauchiehall Street and committed a similar offence in nearby Springfield Court.

Shovelin flashed at two more girls in Primark Store and four women at a KFC.

Shovelin, formerly of Port Glasgow, will be sentenced next month.
