UK court convicts Goan for sexually grooming two underage girls

An Indian was on Tuesday convicted by England’s Isleworth Crown Court over charges of sexually grooming two minor girls.
Francisco Pereira, who hails from Panaji in Goa, had pleaded guilty to charges of trying to meet underage girls and attempting sexual communications with them
Pereira, who has been let out on bail, is now on the country’s sex offenders’ register. He is likely to be awarded a prison sentence by the court.
Between December 15 and 30, 2017, Pereira communicated with two underage girls on the internet for the purpose of sexual gratification.
He sent them sexually explicit photographs and messages. He even tried to meet them in London.
He was, however, communicating with a middle-age volunteer with Wolf Pack Hunters, an internet paedophile hunting group.
On December 30, Pereira was apprehended by the paedophile hunters and subsequently arrested by the London Police. A video of Pereira being confronted by members of the Wolf Pack Hunters has gone viral.
In May, Pereira had pleaded not guilty to the same charges at Uxbrigde magistrates’ court. Pereira’s passport has been impounded by the Isleworth Crown Court.
Serial sex beast guilty of alleyway assault on ‘naked screaming’ teenager has testicles removed while in prison

A serial pervert convicted of a drug-fuelled sex attack on a teenager has had his TESTICLES removed while in custody, a shocked court has been told.
‘Monster’ Paul Catterall, 24, was jailed for seven years, eight months after admitting sexually assaulting the 18-year-old woman in an alleyway last July.
During his sentencing medical reports revealed while on remand in custody, doctors diagnosed Catterall with testicular cancer – and were forced to amputate.
Catterall, of Deane in Bolton, Greater Manchester, will now serve his lengthy prison sentence without his reproductive organs.
Bolton Crown Court when he initially pleaded guilty he claimed he had shared a mutual kiss with the woman before the attack – which left her naked and screaming – but later admitted this was false.
It was revealed that Catterall had a previous conviction for a sexual assault in 2009, when he pushed a women at a bus station and put his hand up her skirt.
Prosecutor Iain Simpkin explained how around 4am on July 31 last year Catterall approached his victim outside Bolton’s ‘En Vogue’ nightclub before walking with her across the town centre.
As they walked into an alley, Catterall leaned in to kiss the woman, but she rejected him and walked away.
Catterall, who that night had taken cocaine as well as drinking alcohol, then pulled her back by her hair, ripping out some of her hair extensions.
As she toppled to the ground he pinned her down, removed her clothes and sexually assaulted her before chasing her.
She ran, naked and screaming, from the scene, in an alley off All Saints Street, behind Bolton’s ‘Founders Arms’ pub.
Mr Simpkin said the victim no longer has any friends because she does not go out, and after the attack had stopped eating and drinking, resulting in a hospital stay.
Reading from the woman’s victim impact statement, he added: “Initially when I arrived home, I stayed in the bath and constantly scrubbed my body because I felt dirty.
“I scrubbed so hard I made myself bleed.
“This person has completely destroyed my life. I feel like a prisoner in my own home.”
The court heard that after pleading guilty to the offence, counts of attempted rape and sexual assault without penetration involving the same attack were ordered to lie on file.
Nicola Gatto, defending, said the drug and alcohol addict, who had a history of begging, was depressed after problems in his two-and-a-half year relationship with his girlfriend.
She added: “He desisted because he came to his senses. There is victim empathy. There is remorse, and there is shame.”
Judge Timothy Stead granted a one third reduction for Catterall’s early plea, making the custodial term four years eight months, but also extended this sentence by three years.
He said: “It was quite clear that your victim was significantly and obviously intoxicated.
“There is no sense in which she should be held to blame or blame herself for what happened, because the wrongdoing was entirely yours.
“The fact she was an obviously intoxicated young woman by herself at night in a isolated place are the aggravating factors of your case.”
After the case, the woman’s family, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said despite Catterall’s cancer – they still did not think his sentence was long enough.
One relative added: “I hope he rots. He should have been hung for what he did.”
Another furious friend of the family said: “It’s apt that he did this, and has now had his testicles removed. He is a brute and a monster.”
