Blackpool man on rape charges
A man has made his first appearance at court accused of raping three teenage girls at Blackpool.
Ryan Murray-Land, unemployed, aged 24, of Ibbison Court, Blackpool, is charged with raping the 15-year-old teenagers at Blackpool between April 1 and June 16 this year at Blackpool. He is also accused of assaulting one of the girls.
Prosecutor, Chrissie Hunt, asked for the case to be heard at crown court. Defence lawyer, Patrick Nelligan, did not ask for bail for his client and said Murray-Land would not indicate pleas to the offences at this stage.
Murray-Land was remanded in custody to appear at Preston Crown Court on July 23 by Blackpool magistrates.
