A pervert that believed he was grooming a 12 year old for sex has been jailed after he was caught by paedophile hunting team ‘Guardians of the North’
James Cole, 19 of Sheffield appeared at court where he admitted sexual communication with a child and other related offences
The court heard that Cole had asked who he believed was a 12 year old girl to send indecent images of herself and attempted to incite the girl into sexual activity. Cole had also sent naked images and videos to the girl
Members of ‘Guardians of the North’ traveled to his home address where they contacted the police who arrived to arrest Cole
The judge sentenced Cole to eight months imprisonment
A 10 year sexual harm prevention order was imposed and Cole was told that he must register as a sex offender for 10 years
He was told that he must not contact any individual under the age of 18 without supervision
