The 35-year-old had thought he was talking online with a schoolgirl but was in fact speaking to a member of Newcastle-based Online Child Protection Team Dark Justice.
He befriended the two ‘children’ before engaging in sexualised chat and exchanging photographs.
Records of their conversations showed Lord had arranged to meet up with one girl in Leeds in a hotel, and also attempted meet another youngster.
Charges:
Michael Lord, 35, of Ratlands Way, has been jailed for two years and six months after attempting to meet a child following sexual grooming.
He told the decoy how he would love to have sex with them and asked if she had any younger friends she could bring with her to meet him.
He was very demanding throughout the conversation(s) and would send message after message to the ‘children’.
