A child groomer who threatened to spread lies about an underage girl unless she performed a sex act on him has been jailed.
Jamie Rekemeier, 26, saw his vulnerable victim when she was underage, Hull Crown Court heard. He was in his late teens at the time.
Rekemeier told her she had to perform a sex act on him in a public place, even though she was reluctant to do so, prosecutor Charlotte Baines said.
She only agreed to it when he became aggressive and said he would “tell other people bad things about her” if she didn’t.
After the incident, he began walking her, “upset and crying”, in the direction of her home and told her not to tell anyone.
Around three weeks later he persuaded her to have intercourse with him after telling her about a split personality disorder he suffered from.
She only consented after he told her that “if she made him angry, ‘Darren’ would come out and when it did he was allowed to hit and rape women”.
On a handful of occasions, extreme sexual acts took place.
The victim reported what Rekemeier, of Redfern Close off Hessle Road, had done to the police some time later.
Extracts of a victim impact statement told how the girl had been made to feel “ashamed” about what had happened and now suffered from “chronic trust issues” and a broken relationship with her family.
Rekemeier pleaded guilty to 10 counts of sexual activity with a child in November last year.
Sentencing him to four years behind bars, His Honour Judge Mark Bury, referencing Rekemeier’s troubled past and mental health problems, said: “While your culpability may have been reduced by this, the harm that you caused has not.”
Rekemeier was also made subject to a sexual harm prevention order and ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for an indefinite period.
