COLIN MASON AGED 47 FROM HOUGHTON LE SPRING – This male turned up to meet what he believed to be a 14 year old male for sex and sexual activities, when he arrived he was confronted by members of our team, we contacted police who arrived shortly after and arrested the male. In 2008 he was jailed for 3.5 yrs for distributing child pornography and was released in december 2011.
When the police searched his home and checked his devices after they arrested for him attempting to meet a child following sexual grooming they found:
192 category A images of which 102 were videos
73 category B images of which 47 were videos
96 cat C images of which 57 were videos
He was up to court this afternoon where he received:-
33 months imprisonment
