Jeremiah Mace, 65, of Hetton-le-Hole, Tyne and Wear, had been having explicit conversations with members of Dark Justice, who track down men seeking sexual activity with underage girls.
Mace, who was also having unrelated sickening chats with a vulnerable 15-year-old girl at the same time, was confronted by the group when he turned up to meet the girl in Newcastle city centre.
