Ian Lewis of Bridgend appeared at Cardiff Crown Court where he admitted: Inciting a minor under the age of 13 to engage in sexual activity
The court was told that Lewis had contacted the profile of who he believed was a child. He sent a string of sexual messages and organised a meeting.
When Lewis turned up expecting to meet the child for sex, he was greeted by a paedophile hunting team, who explained that the child did not exist was instead a member of another team who pose online as children to catch sexual predators.

Lewis was sentenced to:
Two year rehabilitation order
Register as a sex offender for five years
Five year sexual harm prevention order (SHPO)
