A female nursery school manager who watched videos of children being raped and described babies as ‘fucking sexy’ to paedophiles in online chat rooms has been SPARED JAIL

Alison Whateley, aged 44, from Farnham, Surrey, who was arrested on 26 September 2017, was a senior manager at Bushy Tails Nursery in Teddington when she spoke with other child sexual abuse viewers during the depraved live stream sessions, where she watched videos of children as young as three being abused.

Despite this, a judge allowed her to walk free from court and gave her a Community Order and a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.

During the time of the offending, she also worked for the same company at Hampton Wick Nursery and two other nurseries which are now closed – Teddington and Twickenham West.

Guildford Crown Court heard how she shared tales of abuse with other online sexual deviants.
Like the notorious female paedophile Vanessa George, she found men who were interested in the same sexual fantasies and talked about abusing children to ‘get them off’.

She had used her iPhone to access the online chatroom Zoom in 2017, where anonymous hosts played videos of children being abused.

After returning home to west Surrey from work, she logged in under ‘user XXX’ and encourage users to share as many as 100 illegal images.

Within one particular session – lasting for 40 minutes – users were shown 11 videos of children being sexually abused or raped by adults.

She admitted to encouraging or assisting as she was sentenced at Guildford Crown Court.

Wearing glasses and a beige scarf with her dark hair tied back, the defendant clutches a blue stress ball as she made her way into court, shielding her eyes from the court and moaned in anguish throughout the hearing.

Prosecutor Steven Talbot-Hadley told Judge Peter Ross: ‘At the relevant time this defendant worked as a manager at a nursery.

‘An undercover investigation was underway by the National Crime Agency focused on the online conferencing platform Zoom, which is otherwise legitimate but known to be used by paedophiles for sharing images of child abuse online.

Prosecutor Steven Talbot-Hadley told Guildford Crown Court that the investigation focused on an undercover officer deployed covertly into the internet video conferencing website Zoom which was ‘known to be used by paedophiles’.

Up to 100 people join an online meeting space and videos can been uploaded without any evidence left on other users’ devices.

Mr Talbot Hadley said: ‘The undercover operation involved an undercover officer being deployed as a participant in the meeting. ‘It was in this way that this defendant was discovered.’

She was caught bragging about her sexual interest in babies in August 2017 with 40 other participants.

Videos were also shown of children as young as three being raped.

Mr Talbot-Hadley said: ‘On that occasion she was present under the username of XXX.

‘In essence, she said that she liked to masturbate to both boys and girls, the younger the better, that she particularly loved babies, saying that they were so f**king sexy.’

She typed into the chat that she ‘liked masturbating over boys and girls, the younger the better’.

She claimed she was on the platform solely to trap paedophiles and was trying to track them down.
The prosecutor told the court: ‘When asked if she had ever provided any names or phone numbers to police of people she had interacted with online, she said she never had and has never given a reason for that.

‘She met somebody online with the username JohnUK. She told police she talked with him about having sex with children in order to “get him off”, she said she had his number and thought about giving it to the police.’

Analysis of her iPhone 7 found in her home revealed that she had a sexually explicit conversation about children with another man the previous day as well as WhatsApp messages with other paedophiles.

He said an audio file was also found and added: ‘It’s extremely graphic and explicit and in essence it records a woman apparently masturbating while talking to herself about abusing a baby.’
Police interrogated her phone and discovered WhatsApp messages from August to September with another man online between August and September 2017, a man called Joe, with who she discussed abusing children, and telephone records showed she was in contact with a man who was investigated by police for indecent images.

The court also heard an audio recording on her phone was discovered in which a woman could be heard masturbating while talking to herself in graphic detail about abusing babies, which the defendant admitted in a later police interview was her own voice.

The prosecutor said: ‘She said she made the recording because she wanted to know that she could pass herself off as one of them. When she was confronted with this she did not seek to put forward any positive explanation.’
