Re-offending pervert sentenced
A man who was caught by paedophile hunting team ‘Groom Resisters Scotland’ was already on the sex offenders register
Neil King of Liverpool appeared in court where he admitted:
Breaching his sexual offences prevention order
Sexual communication with a child
The court was told that King was already on the sex offenders register when he contacted who he believed was a young boy online. King sent sexually charged messages with a view of meeting the underage boy for sexual activity.
However, the child was not a real child and instead was a decoy from online child protection team ‘Groom Resisters Scotland’.
The team handed their evidence to police and King was arrested, charged and remanded
The judge handed King a two year prison sentence.
An Indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order was issued, and King was also told that he must register as a sex offender for life
