Online child groomer sentenced

A vile pervert has been jailed after he groomed what he believed was a young female child
John Mackthomson 49, of Wolverhampton appeared at Birmingham Crown Court where he pleaded guilty to:

Sexual communication with a child
Attempting to cause or incite a child to engage in sexual activity

The court was told Mackthomson had contacted an online profile belonging to what he believed was a schoolgirl. Thompson immediately sent sexually charged messages and the chat continued for four months.
His messages later focused on his perverted interest in beastiality, and on several occasions asked the child to interact sexually with her siblings.
Mackthomson was finally tracked down to his home by paedophile hunting team ‘One Reason’ where they questioned him on his internet activity.
The team told Mackthomson that the child was infact a female adult from online child protection team ‘Nations Kid’s First’
Mackthomson was arrested and the team handed in their evidence
The judge handed Mackthomson a custodial sentence of 27 months and told him he must register a sex offender for ten years
