Coach Driver caught by paedophile hunting team ‘Hunting 4 Justice’

A coach driver has avoided a prison sentence after he was caught grooming what he believed was a schoolgirl online
Philip John Jacobs, 43, of Rochester Way, Aldwick, Sussex appeared at Liverpool Crown Court where he pleaded guilty to:

Attempting to meet a child following sexual grooming
Engaging in sexual conversation with a child under 16
Inciting a girl under 16 into sexual activity

The court was told that Jacob had contacted 36 online profiles he believed were young girls. The pervert sent explicit sexual chat with a view of grooming the girls into engaging in sexual activity
Jacobs wanted to meet one of the ‘girls’ at the hotel he was staying at in Liverpool. Messages he sent detailed his desire to strip her naked, teach her how to masturbate and how to have sex.
However, the girls were infact adults who posed online as children. One team ‘Hunting 4 Justice’ who were directly involved in the exposure of Jacobs turned up at the proposed meet that Jacobs had arranged.
When the team confronted Jacobs, they explained who they were, and asked him several questions into his internet activity and his contact with the ‘girls.
The police were called and the team handed their evidence into police. During the following investigation, 35 other decoys aged between 11 and 15 years old came forward to say Jacobs had also sent sexual messages to them.
After Jacobs appeared in court and was convicted, he was sacked from his job as a coach river
The judge sentenced to 15 months suspended sentence for two years

A sexual harm prevention order for 10 years was put in place and he was told that he must register as a sex offender for a period of 10 years
A four month tag between 7pm-7am was also issued
Jacons was told that he must complete 250 hours of unpaid work
A 30 day rehab course and a 30 day Sexual Harm Prevention Course was also given
