Lingfield man sentenced to prison after downloading and sharing indecent images of children
A man from Lingfield has been sentenced to six months in prison after his IP address was linked with downloading indecent images of children.
Officers executed a warrant in February after intelligence identified an IP address had been downloading and sharing indecent images.
Paul Lee Gollop, 41, of Station Road, Lingfield, was arrested and charged with three offences of making (downloading) indecent images of children and one offence of possession of extreme pornographic images.
He appeared at Guildford Magistrates Court on Friday, June 1, pleading guilty to all charges.
Appearing at Guildford Crown Court on Friday (June 29), Gollop was sentenced to six months in prison.
He will be listed on the Sex Offenders Register for seven years and has also been given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
