RAYMOND PETER MATTHEWS AGED 55 FROM THE Easington / Peterlee- this man had arranged to meet up with what he thought was a 14 year old female for sex and sexual activities, we arrived at his address and made contact with the police who came and made an arrest.
Today some of the team were in court to witness matthews being sentenced where it was heard that this male had search history on his phone of child pornography, he was sentenced to:
6 Months imprisonment with 3 months to serve
7 year on the sex offenders register
7 years Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO)
