Vile paedophile shared his rape fantasy with young victim


This disgusting paedophile befriended a 14-year-old girl online and sent her messages about how he would like to rape her.
Derby Crown Court heard how Thomas Howarth referred to himself as “daddy” and told the victim he wished she was aged just 10.
The 24-year-old, who was jailed in 2016 for sexually assaulting a girl, also called her “daddy’s little slut”.
He talked his latest victim into meeting him, but that never happened after her mother refused to allow her to travel from their home in the West Midlands to Derbyshire.
And when police went to his address to check his computer they found he had secretly bought a mobile phone which he was supposed to have declared to them as part of a previously imposed sexual harm prevention order.
Jailing Howarth for two years, Recorder Julie Warburton said: “Part of the communication between you had references to you wishing she had been 10 years old.
“You mentioned wanting to rape her on numerous occasions, carried out various sex acts and sent her a naked image of yourself.
“I have no doubt you wanted to have sexual contact with this young female.”
Lucky Thandi, prosecuting, said in 2016 Howarth, of Hands Road, Heanor, was jailed after admitting causing or inciting a girl into sexual activity.
She said he also admitted to a similar charge against a different underage girl.
As part of his punishment he was placed on the sex offenders register for life and was handed a sexual harm prevention order.
Miss Thandi said: “On March 8, 2019, police officers and a probation officer went to the defendant’s home address.
“They asked to see his Playstation which he showed them in his bedroom.
“Analysis of it found he had been exchanging messages with a girl and he told them she was 16.
“But from further analysis, it was clear she was aged 14 and that he had sent a naked photo of himself to her.
“There were clear sexual messages on there including references to him wanting to rape her.”
Miss Thandi said Howarth was arrested and in an interview denied he got sexual gratification from exchanging the messages with the victim.
He said he could not recall why he referred to himself as “daddy” in some of them.
But he later pleaded guilty to charges of sexual communication with a child and breaching the terms of a sexual harm prevention order.
