Pervert caught by paedophile hunters
We spend many hours of our personal time updating and improving this website to make it a valuable tool that will always be free and accessible to the public.
All we ask for in return is a small contribution, we will also send you some goodies in the mail as a thank you
A pervert who was caught in a sting operation after he turned up to meet a child following sexual grooming has been jailed
Alun Bohen, 37 of Aberdare appeared at Crown Court where he pleaded guilty to a number of sexual offences
The court was told that Bohen had contacted the online profile of who he believed belonged to a 12 year old.
Bohen sent a string of sexual messages that clearly showed his intent to engage the child into sexual activity.
The pervert arranged to meet the child at Pontypridd train station in June this year.
However, he was confronted by members of a paedophile hunting team called ‘Welsh Child Protectors’ who questioned him on his internet activity.
The team explained that the child was infact an adult member of another paedophile hunting team, who set up profiles of children online to catch sexual predators
The judge sentenced Bohen to five years and four months in prison and told him that he would have to register as a sex offender
The judge added that Bohen posed a ‘significant danger to children’
