An already convicted sex offender has been jailed after he was caught by a paedophile hunting team
Declan John Moore, 22 of Salford appeared at Manchester Crown Court where he pleaded guilty to:

Attempting, arranging and facilitating the commission of a child sexual offence.

Moore was already on the sex offenders register after he had sexual intercourse with an underage girl in 2013 after plying her with vodka.
The court was told that between April and May this year, Moore contacted an online profile he believed was a 14-year-old girl.
Over the following weeks, he sent a string of sexually explicit messages to the girl. Moore proceeded to set up a meet with the child on the 26/05/18.
However, just as the meet was about to take place, Moore ran away from the scene
The team tracked Moore and found out where he was hiding and called police. The police arrived and swiftly arrested him.
Moore was considered such a danger that he was remanded until his court date
Moore appeared in court for his sentencing on 25/06/2018 where he received:

A custodial sentence of 20 months
A seven year sexual harm prevention order was imposed and Moore was told that he must register as a sex offender for life
