MARTIN KIRKWOOD AGED 34 FROM SUNDERLAND – This male had been speaking with what he thought was a 14 year old girl but it turned out to be a member of our team behind a decoy account, he had asked the “girl” for sexual activities and sent indecent images of himself, he arranged to meet on a weekend but changed his mind at the last second so members of the team travelled to his home address where we confronted him and called the police, while waiting for the police we questioned him on his actions and videoed the confrontation. The police arrived shortly after and arrested the male
He was up to court today where he received –
6 months imprisonment suspended for 2 years
