Sex attack filmed by drunk rapist
A rapist filmed his rape attack on a woman — but was too drunk to remember until police showed him the footage on his phone.
Swansea Crown Court heard Tony Spear, 31, was drunk and high on drugs — and had no memory of the attack on the woman.
The court was told that Spear threatened to kill the woman at her home in Carmarthen, South Wales.
He told her: “I am going to kill you. Do you want the fast way or the slow way?”
Father-of-three Spear of Newbridge, South Wales, admitted rape and false imprisonment.
Janet Gedrych, defending, said: “He is ashamed of his actions.”
Jailing him indefinitely, Judge Keith Thomas told Spear: “I cannot predict when you will cease to be a danger to the public.”
Spear, of Newbridge, South Wales, will serve a minimum of five years.
