Lee Cook aged 30 of Peterlee – This male was speaking to several of our decoys over a period of time but only arranged to meet one of our decoys which happened to be a 15 year old male, he had asked for sex, sexual activities and sent indecent photos of himself before arranging to meet near Cooks home address, when he arrived at the meeting place he believed he had been stood up and started to walk back home, while travelling home a few members of our team confronted lee and questioned him on what he had been saying to this child, we contacted the police who turned up a short while after and arrested Mr Cook!
he was up to court on today and was sentenced to –
12 months prison sentence
5 year Sexual harm prevention order
10 year on the sexual offenders register.
