A pervert who forced his head between a teenager’s breasts in broad daylight has been jailed.
Declin Dreslin, 60, shoved his face between the 19-year-old student’s chest for ten seconds while she was waiting for her boyfriend outside WHSmiths, in High Street, Worcester, on August 8.
A witness took a picture of the assault on his phone at around 1.20pm after he spotted the attack from a park bench.
Prosecutor Christopher Lester said: ‘While she was standing there a man suddenly appeared and walked over to her and placed his head on her bosom and left it there for five to 10 seconds. ‘She was aghast at what had happened and didn’t know what to do.’
The teenager revealed in a victim personal statement she now suffered from depression and anxiety. The student was also a victim of a sexual assault when she was younger.
In her statement she added: ‘The first thing I said to my boyfriend was does this mean I can’t go out into town by myself?’
Dreslin, from Worcester, plead guilty to sexual assault and was jailed for four months at Worcester Crown Court yesterday.
He was also ordered to sign the sex offenders register and pay costs of £150.
Sentencing Judge Robert Juckes QC said: ‘She was young enough to be your granddaughter. ‘She was in the middle of the day, in the middle of the city here, waiting for her boyfriend and simply standing there when you – drunk – went up to her and dropped your head in her breasts and left it there for 10 seconds.
Dreslin had a previous conviction for driving with excess alcohol and being drunk and disorderly in public.
